Are we playing too many video games these days?
My dad says we do. He claims he played football and basketball outside, in broken glass, with no shoes. He only played PacMan and Defender on the weekends at the arcade or skating rink. What you think.
Well your dad is right in many respects. Would you rather play Pacman or go outside and play football? I would rather go outside and play football and play pacman at night instead of watching TV. Although I find Pacman rather boring. In his day there was no internet or awesome games.
These days we have games that are uber awesome and we can be entranced to start playing them to escape our current world into a fantasy of sorts. We need to balance our life. I still do many activities with friends, sports like volleyball, flag football etc. However, I still enjoy the new and amazing video games we have these days on a saturday night. I’m guilty of staying up all night playing games. Times change.
All that being said, you still need a nice balance between staying active and keeping yourself physically fit and your time enjoying video games. I love video games!
