What do you think violent video games?
Because video game developers have been able to put red pixels characters imaginary had recently died, there were people crusading against their subversive forms. The outrage at video games seems to be cyclical, discoloration very briefly before exploding into the public eye once more with renewed frenzy. The controversy seems to have triggered more recently, with numerous crimes being blames the corrupting influence of video games. There have been various "controversies" surrounding recent video games and content in areas of violence and sexuality.
The first game to receive widespread criticism and media attention was the fighting game Mortal Combat martial arts. "Kit includes blood large waves emitted by the attacks and also "victims" that could be performed on stunned opponents after their defeat. These deaths were horrible animation sequences showing the victorious player to kill his opponent defeated in a comprehensive manner. Players will delight in this new experience and the controversy surrounding the violence caused mass hype that informed less informed players that the game was. So players have played the game again only to discover that all spoken, which increased earnings substantially.
One of the largest sparks of controversy has been the recent hot coffee "modification of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (GTA: AG). This release to participate in a sex mini-game took off before launching the game, obviously, not from the source code. The creators of the game, Rock Star Entertainment, of course, understood that this part of the game was not up to the public video games and remove access. An enterprising fan discovered the game and changed the original code to give access to new content. Process have been brought against the stars of rock to include such content in their game, although the validity of the test must be questioned. If the game is just bought and played as intended by developers, this mini game, a bad taste and inappropriate was never found. It was not until the modification by the user downloads and installs the player can access the contents.
Whatever the ruling, "TAG: SA "was re-evaluated in the United States and the prohibition of sales in Australia. Curiously gratuitous violence and encouraged the game has gone almost unnoticed in the wake of "Outrageous sex scenes" with the participation of people dressed as cartoon characters.
If you examine objectively almost all games contain a certain amount violent content. The children light and colorful "Mario" Nintendo games are trampling on the heads of animated creature. In fact, most Games, games including children, the participation of leading a Crusade against any enemy hordes and, in general, "" eliminating them in some way either by hitting with a weapon or a body part (feet, hands, possibly a tail depending on the nature of the character). The sole difference is stand after a childhood game of "bad" characters often bounce back so nice and operated with a breath of humor (or simply disappear), while that in a game geared to older mature players, the characters are more likely to be (somewhat) realistic, spraying a geyser of red in her disappearance.
Every time a young man commits a violent crime, somewhere these days, it seems that blames a video game "Duke Nukem" and "Quake" be charged with the slaughter at Columbine High, a more recent incident related to a group of miners attribute their violence to the "video game Mortal Combat." No Anyway solid proof is hard to say whether or not violence video games have much influence on the players. To be really sure that would probably have to have a control group of isolated children that have never seen a violent movie or playing a bloodthirsty video game. History, however, show that crimes committed Brutal before movies or video games even came into existence.
Children are easily influenced by something they are very happy and I've seen this happen lot. Play a game of ball with a group of eight years often leads to eight years hoarse screaming and trying to pin each other on the floor. Pre-teens are often punched and kicked outside a cinema in terrible combat positions after watching a martial art film. The content classification system in place today is not intended the reduction of consumption, fundamental aims simply to inform the public about what they will experience. Legal restrictions are not really in place until the superior, more severe ratings like X-rated movies. Parents, guardians and society in general, have to start taking an interest in knowing who is watching certain types of content. Instead of complaining about the hospitality of a child knows that the father could be there soon to see the classification that is clearly written on the packaging all the shows. A simple "I do not think that is right, how about this game? Has a lizard!" Lock the child a surprising number of times. Based on my experience, children really only want people to be interested in what interests them not only murmuring indistinctly, "Yes, dear, it's good." the child to install the new violent game.
What about children playing games of category ratings? The only way can also get the game in their possession, if a parent (or someone of legal age) purchases the game for the child or if the store disregards level guidelines in place and sells it to them regardless. Any way that the content of a game fell to a minor is not the fault of the game developer.
I'm not looking for defend the integrity of artistic vision presented in video games like many players. Frankly integrity seems to be little art, making the blood more fluid in appearance. I do however enjoy games that are violent by nature and in many cases the violent nature of the game increases my enjoyment. Video games are escapism, there (May) need to play a video game that simulates something you can just in the street and do (and yet sports games somehow still sell in large quantities … curious …). Curiously, not felt the overwhelming desire to break this down into a kung fu position and commit murder. Perhaps more important than simply banning questionable content in video games would be studying why this content is so appealing to contemporary society?
